Welcome to my e-portfolio! My name is Joe Gonnella, ​and I am a senior at Baylor University, planning to ​graduate in May 2026. I am an experienced Professional ​Selling major, specializing in interpersonal and ​teamwork skills. I am deeply passionate about serving ​others and fostering a culture of intentionality while ​driving change in my places of work as well as life in ​general.

Act as a representative of property owners, meeting with potential tenants and providing property tours. screening applicants, determining qualifications for tenants, and processing lease documents. Also, outline lease terms, collect security deposits, and renew current tenants' leases.

ProSales Journey
 

Persuasive Presentation

We interviewed a salesperson at our chosen company to understand what types of customers are relevant to their business. I listened to the C-Suite’s quarterly earnings calls to identify a tie-in of my product to a high-level corporate strategy. 

BBSO

BBSO (Baylor Business Selling Outside) is one of our internal ProSales competitions where we conduct a 20-minute discovery call based off of a case and product knowledge. I combined case preparation with prior sales knowledge to sell a strategic and relevant solution according to the buyer's needs.

Purchasing Assignment

Completed 8 interviews with procurement professionals to gain insight into how they interact with salespeople and completed an analysis of trends in their responses.
